UN tells Sudan to act over Darfur

I’ve been following this story for a couple of weeks. In the blogosphere and on TV news. The Sudanese government has not done anything to stop the militias. The militias are systematically performing genocide through raping the women, killing the men and burning the villages.

Nato reaches deal to train Iraqis

This is good news for Iraq. Improving security will hopefully improve the Iraqi people’s support for the Iraqi government.
Is this what could be called working with our allies? I seem to recall hearing something this week that only a new president could cause this to happen.

Homespun $42 Wheelchairs

Man, this is so awesome that I can barely stand myself. The design sounds incredibly simple and cheap to complete. Unfortunately, the site was down at the time of this post so I couldn”t visit or check out the plans for construction.

Portable hard drive

This is the stuff that makes me laugh yet stand in awe of our progress. Just since I was born, technology has made amazing strides. I sometimes forget this and enjoy seeing the reminders.
