What a great day for the Iraqi people. I’m amazed at how negative some people are when responding to the outcome. The Leftists wanted so badly for us to fail in Iraq that now they can’t even cheer when Iraqi’s vote for the first time.
Then there’s the MSM. You would think that they would have an aneurysm if they didn’t put a negative spin on the news they are reporting.
I’m very excited to see the spread of democracy. The photos and video of Iraqi’s voting is fantastic. For those that say this wasn’t a legitimate election, here’s a report from your much beloved U.N.
“Certainly, as a starting point where one considers from where the Iraqi people are coming … this is very good, this is a very good process,” Jean-Pierre Kingsley, Canada’s top election official and the chief of the U.N.-backed International Mission for Iraqi Elections, said Sunday.

“The Iraqi elections generally meet international standards,” he said.
