Not your typical 4th

When you hear on the news that several households in the metro are without power, count us in that statistic. The power went off at our house around 5 a.m. this morning and has yet to come back on. We were just at the house getting stuff to stay at the in-laws and someone drove by to tell us that a tree fell in the backyard of a house on the street behind us and a few lots down. OG&E was working on it but may not be able to fix it for a while. We had to make plans for work tomorrow so we just came over here.
Since I’m here I won’t be able to write what I wanted/needed (including yours Stacy. Sorry.) to post this weekend. They only have dial-up here ***bangs mouse against temple*** so I’m barely able to check my email. My patience isn’t strong enough to wait for the pages to load. I’ll be out of pocket until I can get some free time and a broadband connection.
