Gary has prostate cancer. We found out tonight after he went to the doctor because he hasn’t been sleeping well. The doctor said they couldn’t see it before the surgery because of swelling.

This morning at 9:30 a.m. my father-in-law, Gary Jenkins, is going in for surgery. If everything goes well, he will only have to spend one night in the hospital. But, for the next three weeks he won’t be allowed to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk.
