This is the first moment that I’ve had internet access to post about the birth of our daughter, Jordan Rachel. She decided to come early and was born at 3:39 a.m., Friday, March 24th. She weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 20 inches long. Mom and baby came through the surgery beautifully. Momma is tired and very sore from the surgery. We found out yesterday before we left the hospital that Jordan has jaundice. It was at 13 and told us to supplement with formula and visit the doctor this morning. They tested her again this morning and she was at 16.5.
The equipment for the light therapy will be delivered today and we’ll be visiting the doctor again tomorrow. I’m sure she will be fine, but prayers would be appreciated.
